You have given Jardiance® 10 mg to a patient or you have obtained this medicine from the pharmacy. The health care insurer does not yet Jardiance® for the treatment of heartfailure with a preserved ejection fraction (LVEF >40%). The producer of this medicine has therefore asked TBR Nederland to reimburse the costs.

Reimbursement

Conditions

Jardiance® (empagliflozin) 10 mg will be reimbursed by TerugBetaalRegeling when adults are diagnosed with heartfailure and have an ejection fraction >40%, when:
- Prescription is not eligible for reimbursement by the health insurer.
- Jardiance is prescribed by a cardiologist, nurse specialist or phycisian assistant.

Invoicing by the pharmacy or patients is possible when Jardiance is prescribed after March 3th 2022.

Who can submit a claim

1. Patients or their carer can claim the costs for Jardiance® 10 mg online or by post.                          

2. Pharmacists can only claim this medicine online, on behalf of the patient.

From when till when can you submit a claim

You can only send in your expense with an issue date from 3th of March 2022. For the Reimbursement scheme of this medicine no closing date has been determined yet.
