Termination Reimbursement scheme Forxiga®/Xigduo® - Diabetes

As from the 1^st of August 2025 the “bijlage 2 voorwaarden” for Forxiga^® and Xigduo^® have been withdrawn. This means that per 1^st of August there are no further restrictions or limitations to the reimbursement of Forxiga^® and Xigduo^®. Due to the withdrawal of the “bijlage 2 voorwaarden” the “TerugBetaalRegeling” has become obsolete and will be closed by the 1^st of August.

Conditions

The Personal Contribution for Forxiga^® and Xigduo^® that is demonstrably charged to the patient was fully reimbursed from July 1 2019 until August 1 2025. Only prescriptions dispensed between these mentioned dates can be claimed through TerugBetaalRegeling Nederland until December 31 2025.

Who can submit a claim

Patients or their caregivers can claim the Personal Contribution for Forxiga^® and Xigduo^®, that has been dispensed up to the 1^st of august 2025, online or by post until the 31^st of December. Online will be the fastest option. Pharmacists can also claim this medicine on behalf of the patient. This can only be submitted online.
