Since 1 August 2019, TerugBetaalRegeling.nl has been responsible for the reimbursement of ELVANSE.
The Reimbursement Scheme of ELVANSE® is limited to children 6 years of age and older who are indicated for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) when the response to previous treatment with methylphenidate is considered clinically inadequate. In adolescents whose symptoms persist until adulthood and who clearly benefit from treatment, it may be appropriate to continue treatment in adulthood.
The Personal Contribution that is demonstrably charged to the patient by the health insurer for ELVANSE® is fully reimbursed with a maximum of € 250 per patient per year. Therefore, the patient can submit a claim with TBR Netherlands.
Patients or their carer can submit a claim online for the Personal Contribution amount they paid for Elvanse 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and/or 70mg. Pharmacists cannot submit claims on behalf of patients for this medicine.
