Keeping medicines affordable
From 2019, the invoice for the Personal contribution will be automatically forwarded by the pharmacist to the health insurer. The health insurer will then send an invoice to the patient for the Personal contribution, up to a maximum of € 250 including VAT. Only the patient can declare this invoice at TBR Nederland. The pharmacist's role is hereby abolished.
NOTE this only applies to the Reimburesment Scheme Regulations for GVS medicines. Both the pharmacist and the patient can declare for the Reimbursement Scheme Regulations for non-GVS medicines . For more information, visit our website at the relevant medicine.
